Hyper Boost

A power-up for your sound.

Simple, but deadly: Hyper Boost combines a two-band tone control with a hard-hitting soft clipper. Use it early in the signal chain as a bold, creative saturation effect or throw it on late for subtle, precision mix adjustments.

Tone Control
  • Retro-inspired two-band EQ
  • Uses extremely gentle tilt filters, not standard shelves!
  • Adjustable center frequency
  • Control signal flow with three EQ modes
Clipper
  • Drive input up to +36 dB!
  • Fine tune your clipping curve with ceiling & edge controls
  • Three distinct clipping algorithms

About the clipping algorithms
  • Juicy curve an exact reproduction of a now-infamous stock clipper. Not $120.
  • Tight curve adapted from classic soft-knee limiter designs.
  • Hardest curve uses high-order polynomial for loud, brash hardware-style clipping.
Features you expect
  • AB test different settings
  • HQ mode enables oversampling & ADAA1
  • Auto gain for clipper module
  • One-click global loudness matching

I want it. How do I get it?

We sell our plug-ins on the Apple App Store. All of our effects plug-ins come with a two-week free trial, hear how Hyper Boost sounds today!

What are the details?

Our plug-ins are for macOS and iOS only and support the following formats:

  • AUv3
  • CLAP
  • VST3

DAWs that support AUv3 work out of the box. Just install the app from the App Store, and you’re done, the plug-in will appear in your DAW.

The CLAP and VST3 formats require a quick installation through the standalone app. Here’s a video.

  1. Antiderivative anti-aliasing (ADAA) is a new technique that allows you to reduce aliasing without additional oversampling. That means you get a cleaner signal for less CPU. 🙂 ↩︎
