Brutal asymmetric distortion.

Fuzz Droid is a distortion effect based on the gain stage in the OG CP3 modular mixer. Its sharp, asymmetric discontinuity makes for a unique & aggressive sound!
If you find the main circuit a little too rude, we also included a smoother curve from the same module.
Finally, we took the opportunity to add some digital extras: a custom smoothing function, adjustable bias, and flexible tone-shaping filters to fine tune your sound.
The result is the rudest effect we’ve created so far!
Crunch It!
- Two asymmetric distortion circuits from OG CP3 module:
- CP3+: a sharp discontinuity generates massive harmonics!
- CP3-: a smooth curve for a heavier sound
Digital Extras
- Custom smoothing function for taming harsh artifacts
- Use bias control to vary how you hit the asymmetries
- Flexible tone-shaping filters
The features you expect
- AB test different settings
- HQ mode enables oversampling & ADAA1
- Optional auto gain
- One-click global loudness matching
How do I get it?
Our plug-ins are available on macOS and iOS. You can download them from the Apple App Store. All of our effects plug-ins come with a two-week free trial, hear how Fuzz Droid sounds today!

What are the details?
Our plug-ins are for macOS and iOS only and support the following formats:
- AUv3
- CLAP
- VST3
DAWs that support AUv3 work out of the box. Just install the app from the App Store, and you’re done, the plug-in will appear in your DAW.
The CLAP and VST3 formats require a quick installation through the standalone app. Here’s a video.
- Antiderivative anti-aliasing (ADAA) is a new technique that allows you to reduce aliasing without additional oversampling. That means you get a cleaner signal for less CPU. 🙂 ↩︎
