Doctor Vibe puts the sound of a classic workflow in your DAW: a warm & woozy vinyl source, the grit & sparkle of early converters, and that singular Detroit-style compression.

For us, the sampling workflow is a prime example of how artistry and technology work together in the music-making process. During Doctor Vibe’s development, we spent a lot of time on YouTube watching bedroom hip hop producers from around the globe flip samples straight from vinyl. The interaction between these talented and creative beatmakers and the imperfections of their classic hardware was truly awesome to see. We were immediately pulled into the workflow and the incredible, warm sound produced by the interplay at each stage in the signal path. Doctor Vibe is our attempt to capture some of this magic and put it in your DAW.

There is a hand-crafted DSP module for each stage in the signal path. You can use each one on its own, but together, they become something we think is really special.
